Looking at the pace of realization of his space program — the simple human despondency and the question: «Really, we cannot develop our cosmonautics with the same shock pace.»

But, for today, let me remind you that it was already in the history of our country. The Soviet Union is only 40-60 years ago, the same rapid pace made a lot of discoveries in space, put global records and sent a huge number of devices to the Space Body of the Solar System.

These records include: sending the first satellite into the orbit of the Earth in 1957, sending the first cosmonaut into space in 1961. The first person who visited in space was Yuri Gagarin. Alexey Leonov became the first cosmonaut. In addition, our cosmonautics are not lagging behind in the study of the Moon. Of course, we could not send people there. The devices remaining in the orbit of Mars continued mapping Mars and left a noticeable contribution to science in this area of activity. It happened in 1971.

The Soviet Union was the first and construction of the first orbital stations. Such was the Station «Salyut-1», launched in 1971. In total, 7 «Salute» and «Space-557» stations were launched.
