Then, ground stations of early warning on a rocket attack begin to work. These include such stations as «Daryal», «Dnipro» and «Voronezh».

These stations begin to calculate the trajectory of ballistic missiles and the direction of their impact. After that, the radar «Don-2n», which is located near Moscow — processes this data and guides anti-missile systems. In general, the radar radius of Russian SPRN is 6 thousand kilometers.

To solve the problem with the creation of a unified system of the Russian system about our scientists, RRS «Voronezh-M» and «Voronezh-DM», respectively, meter and decimeter ranges were developed. In general, these radars are the first in the world that have a modular design and are assembled from blocks produced at the factories. Thanks to this, they are erected over a year and a half, although they were built to 10 years in Soviet times.

The newest RLSs are installed in all directions along the borders of Russia: in Kaliningrad, Irkutsk, Leningrad, Orenburg regions, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk and Altai Territories. There are plans for the installation of these radar in Vorkuta, Murmansk, the Republic of Komi and in Sevastopol. In terms of early warning about a rocket attack, Russia is reliably protected.

But what about the USA? In general, the United States has only one radar station of anti-missile defense, which more or less corresponds to the indicators of the Russian radar «Voronezh-DM». This station is located in Greenland. Other American radars, significantly inferior to Russian, are located on Alaska and California. These stations have basic mine-based missile systems.

Another class of the American RLS system and anti-missiles are located in Europe: in Romania and placed accommodation in Poland. In the Asian region, the United States has batteries of anti-missiles with radar on warships, as well as data that they will be installed in South Korea.

The main difference about Russia and the United States from each other is that our system relies on the radar mounted on land. The American system is based on the fact that it depends on space satellites, thanks to which the defects of ballistic missiles are detected.

In the end, I would like to say that Russian SPRN is many times better than an American system because it does not depend so critically from military satellites. Moreover, satellites must be periodically reduced from orbits and replaced with new ones, since their resource is not eternal. Russian radars — can stand for long decades without serious replacement equipment.

And in general, satellites can be destroyed by electromagnetic radiation and in the end, the US radar system simply will not. That is, there are enough nuclear bombs to deal with US military satellites and the United States will remain without a nuclear umbrella.
