Greeting the readers of the channel!
For a long time, the guns of the Great Patriotic Great, and the fields of battles threw the grass. But the theme of the most tragic and victorious in the history of our country of war is not ceased to learn and discuss everything both in Russia itself and abroad. So, it would not be correctly not to recall a very bright, but a poorly interest in the history of the Great Patriotic War. The first of our allies in the fight against Germany were not the United Kingdom and the United States, as some of the modern inhabitants of our country may think. In fact, there were other countries allied to us. And their contribution to the general victory over the enemy should be reminded that the feat of these two fraternal peoples to us was forgotten.
Immediately after the attack of the Germans, the Tuvinian Republic and Mongolia were offered to the Soviet Union. A few hours before the speech of Churchill on June 22, 1941, Mongolia and Tuva announced a war of fascist Germany. The Central Committee of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party, the Presidium of Small Huhura and the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People’s Republic adopted a joint declaration in which it was written:
«All the people of our freedom-loving and independent republic, connected by the bonds of blood unpreasual friendship with the Soviet people, with the deepest contempt, will glimpse this treacherous act of fascist Germany, will respond with the full strengthening of the friendship of the Soviet and Mongolian peoples, will be faithful to the obligations adopted under the agreement on mutual assistance, concluded on March 12, 1936. » This contract Soviet and Mongolian soldiers defended in 1939, when they fought side by side against the Japanese troops in the battles on Halchin-goal. After the victory over the Japanese, they abandoned the Plan of the Occupation of Mongolia and concluded a non-aggression pact from the USSR.
Already in November 1941, the first echelon from Mongolia arrived in the USSR. The Red Army was delivered 15 thousand white sheepskin coats, as well as boots, tag rays, mittens, scarves and other different winter things. And so, Echelon for Echelon Mongol was supplied free of charge to the Soviet Union a lot of supplies and all necessary: meat, sausages, jam, canned horseback and beef, goat meat, bread, oil, chrome boots, belts, gloves, cotton pants, warm sheep blankets , caps. It came to the point that Mongols delivered even ready-made felt yurts.
The Soviet Union over the war years lost 8 million horses. Mongolia puts our country half a million heads of horses, which was a huge help for both the Red Army and the farm. Mongolian horses played a huge role in both military transportation and cavalry. In general, by November 1941, as many as five infantry divisions, which are preparing for a counterattack near Moscow were equipped with Mongol Winter Outfit. The fact that since 1942 and until the end of the war, 20% of the Red Army wore a Mongolian chinel. As many as three thousand Mongolian volunteers fought in the ranks of the Red Army. This is a huge help from a small people for huge Soviet Russia in the hardest period for it.
For the money that the Mongolian workers gathered the Tank Brigade «Revolutionary Mongolia» and the Squadron «Mongolian Arat». These tanks were part of the 112nd Red Banner Tank Brigade. In addition, Mongols granted 2.5 million tugres to the Soviet Union, 100 thousand dollars and 300 kg of gold. For these funds, the Red Army created the Aviation Squadron «Mongolian Arat». It is worth noting that the tank column and a squadron, by the end of the war, the Mongols were provided with both things and food.
As experts were calculated, Mongolia was delivered to the Soviet Union more wool and meat than from the US on Land Lesu. As an example, we will see the list sent from one of the echelons in November 1942, taken from open sources:
«Handmock — 30 115 pcs .; Filks — 30,500 pairs; fur mittens — 31,577 pairs; fur vests — 31,090 pcs.; Soldier’s belts — 33 300 pcs.; Woolen swords — 2 290 pcs.; Fur blankets — 2 011 Pieces; Berry jam — 12 954 kg; Casia Jeyranans — 26,758 pcs.; meat — 316,000 kg; Individual parcels — 22 176 pcs.; sausage — 84 800 kg; oil — 92,000 kg.
Everything that was mentioned above, Mongolia puts the Soviet Union on a voluntary and free-free basis, which in 1946 hunger happened in Mongolia. This time the Soviet Union came to the help of Mongolia. In addition, thousands of Mongols fought volunteers in the Red Army. In August 1945, the Mongolian army entered the Far Eastern Union of the Red Army and took an active part in the defeat of the Japanese army in Manchuria. It is estimated that 10% of the troops involved against Japan in the Far East were Mongols.
Unfortunately, the help of Mongolia and all of its people for the Soviet Union is currently very underestimated. More talk about supplies on Land Liza. But forget about our faithful friend — Mongolia. By the way, in Mongolia and to this day, the memory of the Great Patriotic War.
And today everything. Thank you for reading to the end.
